The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
