Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been earned on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev won his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a challenging season, managing just one win at the big events and experiencing a meltdown at the New York tournament.

Currently training with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - culminating in a tightly fought competitive victory over Frenchman Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's first championship following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard court after that period of 2023.

"This title is in tribute of my child her name, because the maiden victory I achieved when my child Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the past champion, had lost his past six finals, comprising in the German tournament previously this season.
His counter-punching play style and regular reactions on court had prompted commentators to doubt if his capacity to perform at the elite level was finished.
However the player has altered his approach in the past month, striving to advance forward and perform aggressively, reinforced by an improved serving game.
The champion came back from a deficit in the first set against the challenging Moutet, taking four of the concluding five points to take the lead.
Both players exchanged breaks in the middle set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden tour championship, took control to push for a third set.
The opponent rescued 4 early-game break points in a competitive deciding set before Medvedev won the break to fifteen to secure the win.
Fittingly, the winner clinched the win with a shot at the net, with the Frenchman unable to manage a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
